The TransCaspian is the international trade fair for transport, transit and logistics, which will be held since its founding in 2002 once a year in Baku. It is the leading event for the transport sector of the Caspian region and is open to trade visitors only. The TransCaspian exhibition is one of the leading transportation events in the Caspian region, which brings together key public transport bodies and commercial organizations from the rail and commercial vehicle sectors, the maritime industry, aviation and transport and logistics services. The exhibition, which is held with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan is an opportunity to showcase the latest developments in transportation technology, get acquainted with promising public infrastructure projects, establish sales channels for railway products, commercial vehicles, and ship building, meet with the representatives of ports and logistics centres, as well as an effective way to promote transportation and logistics services in the Caspian and South Caucasus regions.

They present the latest achievements of the transport sector including technologies and services in the field of logistics, production and modernization of vehicles and construction machinery and equipment for loading and unloading in the area of commercial and passenger traffic. In addition, the exhibition provides a unique opportunity to meet key persons of the train technology company "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC and brings together commercial transport and logistics companies, sea and river ports, shipbuilders and IT companies annually. Thus, the main issues in the development of regional and Caucasian transport system will be discussed and new information systems for the interaction between the different modes of transport can be developed with the aim to successfully cope with logistic issues in the global market for transport and logistics services.
